Questions You Might Have
Do I need to be a certain age to use PhonicsMaker?
Yes β you must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. PhonicsMaker is designed for teachers, parents, and educators to create content for children, not for children to use directly.
What happens to my account if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. Any PDFs you've already downloaded are yours forever. After that, your account remains but you won't be able to generate new content until you resubscribe.
Can I use PhonicsMaker content commercially?
You can use our tools for personal and educational purposes, including selling printed materials through marketplaces like TPT, TES, or Teach Starter, or providing them to tutoring clients. What you can't do is repackage our AI output as your own competing software product.
What if I forget to cancel my free trial?
That's exactly why we have the 14-day money-back guarantee. If you were charged and didn't mean to continue, just email us and we'll refund you in USD. No questions asked.
Who owns the content I generate?
You retain full ownership of the stories, worksheets, and materials you create. We only process your content to deliver the service. Any customizations β edited text, added lesson notes, personal word lists β are entirely yours.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption, process payments through PCI-DSS compliant Stripe, and never store your credit card details. We collect only the minimum data needed to deliver the service. Your personal information is handled in compliance with applicable US federal and state privacy laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can my school or district get a bulk license?
Absolutely. We offer dedicated school or district plans with custom onboarding, volume pricing, and priority support. Contact us at support@phonicsmaker.com for a personalized quote.
Is PhonicsMaker aligned to Common Core & state standards?
Yes! PhonicsMaker is built to align with Common Core & state standards, covering Kindergarten to Grade 5. Our AI generates stories and worksheets that match your curriculum's phonics scope and sequence.
